Sculpture - Suvannamaccha

$77.77

This is a brass and copper sculpture of Suvannamaccha, Thai: สุพรรณมัจฉา; Khmer: សុវណ្ណមច្ឆា; Sovann Maccha; Sanskrit: सुवर्णमत्स्य, suvarṇamatsya; literally "golden fish".

Suvannamaccha is a daughter of Tosakanth appearing in the Thai and other Southeast Asian versions of Ramayana. She is a mermaid princess who tries to spoil Hanuman's plans to build a bridge to Lanka but falls in love with him instead.

Trinidad enchanted and consecrated this sculpture as a talisman at the Dragon mountain monastery. Keep this sculpture on your altar, garden, pond, or near a window.
