Sculpture - Maa Ya Sripatumma

Sculpture - Maa Ya Sripatumma
This is a resin sculpture of Maa Ya Sripatumma, or Queen Nākinī Sripatumma Wisutthi Devi, or Nang Kwak. Sometimes she is depicted as a human in regular domestic clothing but here she is depicted in her true form. She comes from a long line of Southeast Asian (Thai) royal water gods called the Erāpatha family. She is another folk serpent-deity similar to Phaya Nak who grants good fortune to the household, removes obstacles, and defends feminine devotees like mothers and grandmothers. Place her on your altar, your garden on an elevated platform, by your pond, or by your doors or windows.
This sculpture was created in Thailand, consecrated as a a talisman by Trinidad under the full moon. This is a very powerful talisman meant to be owned by a matriarchal member of the family.
