This is a large planchette for devotees of Tara, Dalikmata, Inanna, and other goddesses of compassion, war, psychic vision. This planchette should be used with a hand-drawn spirit board or talking board. See Trinidad’s blog post about spirit communication for more. This planchette is made of lightweight wood, stained green— the color of Dalikmata—with a beautiful engraving of an owl and all-seeing eye lens at the bottom for spirit-viewing. It is felted on the back for smooth communication.

Dalikmata watches over us through moths, butterflies, and, back in the Philippines, the Eagle Owl, although all owls can be associated with her. In many lineages, the owl represents death, transformation, and messages from the underworld.

Trinidad enchanted and consecrated this planchette for use as a ritual talisman at the Dragon Mountain monastery in California.
