This is a Tara figurine sculpted from bronze, collected in India. Tara is Trinidad’s principal deity. Tara is worshipped in Hindu-Buddhist traditions including folk religions throughout Southeast Asia. She is fast-acting, compassionate, and all-seeing across many dimensions. She often appears blue in meditation and special rituals, but frequently manifests in a worshipper’s life as green light, green insects, green butterflies or moths, meteorites. She rewards those who do acts of service for animals and people who are suffering. Place her at your altar, by your bed, or by a window for protection and deity worship.
