Adopt An Ancestor Doll - "Ligaya"

Adopt An Ancestor Doll - "Ligaya"
This is a one-of-a-kind vintage, handmade doll from the Philippines. “Ligaya” means happiness in Filipino. She wears both a Filipiniana and an indigenous siblay (sash), and tapis or alampay (skirt or over-skirt). She is adorned in plastic and clay jewelry made to look like pearls and agate. She stands at 9.5 inches tall.
There are many Southeast Asian, Filipina, Pacific Islander communities in California. Due to the diaspora, capitalism, and racism few people of certain generations pray to their ancestors. There are many wandering dead who hope to be remembered or interact with the living. Ancestors offer protection and can help you achieve your goals. The new owner of “Ligaya” will develop a close relationship with a forgotten feminine spirit. “Ligaya” is a warm, wandering soul, whose last life was lived as an immigrant in California. She will reveal her true name to you.
Trinidad enchanted and consecrated this beautiful doll using potent Water Serpent Dharma sorcery at the Dragon Mountain monastery in California under the full moon.
